It's Never Too Late To Take A Stand
-The Benchwarmer
I like this statement. I guess it is true that is always never too late to make a stand and make a difference; whoever you are and wherever you are. It does not mean that you'll have to do something big and impressive to make a difference. For all you know, just with one smile, one's day may be brigthened. But as for me, I want to make a difference in mission. God has been putting this mission passion in my heart since last year. And I had my 1st mission trip to Sarawak and it was a indescribable! I want to make it a point to go for at least a trip a year. My aim this year is this Thailand, not because of the shoppings, no hikings... but because it is a challenge to serve in a foreign country.

Baby Day Care
Took baby Anne Jie to JJ today, due to the fact that I told her mom that I'm able to take care of her since she's going out and aunty Lorena went visitation with my mom and aunty Nancy. She's a very easy-to-take-care baby. We walked around JJ and she enjoys looking at things. I took her to the playground in Vior Gallery and then to McD's. I ordered the chicken McNugget set and she ate 4 nugget, half regular fries and about half of the regular coke. Oh boy, she can really eat! She's sooo cute. She knows the fries are hot, she actually asked me to blow for her before giving her. However, when we walked around, she'll asked me to carry her whenever she see manikins and she'll hug me tightly. I guess she's afraid of human-looking-alike in stagnant position. Oh well, I believe she had fun with me today cause when asked if she wants to go home, she shakes her head and said, 'No'.

I found myself very demanding these few days. On Monday, I went to Petaling Street aka 'Che Cheong Kai' while my mom get her hearing aid fixed. I went with the intention of getting a cheap sunglasses. So, I stopped by a stall and I tried on llloootttssssss of sunglasses. Just to be sure that I really picked the one that I really like and won't regret purchasing it the next day. And so, I tried, tried and tried... and finally *tada* I found one that I really love and I asked the man how much... and this is how the conversation goes...
Me: How much is this sunglasses?
Mr CCK: Cheap cheap. RM38 only.
Me: Wah... So expensive ar. RM 10 lar.
Mr CCK: Cannot lar. RM30 for you lar.
Me: No no. RM10. Oklar... RM12 lar.
Mr CCK: Haiyoh. Cannot lar... RM28 lar. Very cheap already.
Me: *puts on the demanding face* No no no... RM12. If not, then I go other stall and buy. They sell me RM12 only (sometimes, you've got to tell a lil lie when bargaining).
Mr CCK: Nolar. Cannot lar (this time, he's really annoyed by me for being for firm with my price). RM12 can lar... *then he takes out the kids sunglasses* this one RM12 can lar.
Me: Then I dont want to buy lar. I go other stall. *Sha walks away...*
Mr CCK: *Cursing Sha* Stupid lar you. You think I what? Stupid punya people. Stupid stupid...
********************
In JJ Klang, I purchased a top. The cashier gave me a torn RM1 note and I asked her to change to a better note. And I was the only one at the cash counter.
Me: Cik, sudah koyak lar. Can you please change for me. Thank you.
Ms cashier: *Gives Sha the annoyed look and rolls her eyes** Alah miss, I sudah tutup itu cash machine lar.
Me: (Since she rolled her eyes and gave me the annoyed look...) Not my problem. You find a way to open it and exchange a better note for me. You gave me a koyak duit *showing her the koyak part*
Ms cashier: Masih boleh guna lar.
Me: NO! I want to change.
So, she went and take the key from another cashier and exchanged it for me... Being a polite customer, I said thank you to her anyway and walk away...
If there was a evaluation form to evaluate the cashier that serves you, I'll surely evaluate badly on her!!! So rude, impolite, and unfriendly to the customer. CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! heheh =)

A Drink from a Stranger
Min's phone buzzed. "Hey Min," Kavitha's voice come over the earpiece. She sounded a little sheepish. "Err..."
"Oh no! Don't tell me you;re bailing out on me as well?" Min wailed.
"Sorry, there are too many rumours of women being drugged there and molested. The others can;t make it tonight and I don't think it's safe for just the two of us to go," Kavitha reasoned. "let's go next Friday when everyone's free, okay?"
"Whatever," retorted Min. She hadbeen looking forward to this and if she had to go alone, she would. The new dance club had a swanky decor and despite the drug rumours, it was the "in" place. What were the odds of something happening to her? She would just be exra careful and not accept drinks from strangers.
As Min walked into the club, some men were already eyeing her. She smoothed down her sexy black number. Who knows, she thought, she might just meet the man of her dreams tonight.
Min sat herself down at the bar and ordered a cocktail. Soon, a tall, decent-looking man made his way to her.
"Hello. MInd if I join you?" the man flsahed a gorgeous smile.
"Not at all," said Min. They exchanged names and chatted for a few minutes before he asked her for a dance.
After close to an hour on the dance floor, the man leaned over and said ,"Hey, I'm beat. Let's rest and have a drink."
"Sure. I'll meet you at the bar. I need to powder my nose first," replied Min.
When she returned, he already had a drink for her. "is lime juice okay?"
Min smiled gratefully, taking a few sips of the thirst-quenching drink.
"My friends and I are heading for some roti canai. Care to join us? he asked.
Min nodded. She stood up. But she suddenly felt dizzy. As she walked out of the club, everything became a hazy blur. Her last thought before she fainted was "Never accept a drink froma stranger..."
Min woke up to unfamiliar surroundings. She looked around and realised she was in a hospital. Her mother was sitting to her left, her eyes red.
"Mum, did anything happen to me? Tell me the truth!" Min cried out.
"Calm doen, dear. Dr Ong said that you fainted due to low blood sugar levels. It's nothing serious, really. Oh, here's the good doctor now. I'll let him explain."
Min glanced towards the doorway. It was th man who slipped her a drink at the club. "You're a doctor?" Min gulped.
"Yes. And how are you? It's not often a damsel falls into my arms a few hours after we meet," Dr Ong laughed.

All to Jesus, I surrender
All to Him I freeely give
I will ever love and trust Him
In His service daily live
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to thee my Blessed Saviour
I surrender all...
I've only got exactly 1 day and 9 hours to my 1st paper. And at this point of time, I'm at my weakess moment and desperately needing Him. 'Oh God, I really need You to help me through this difficult period... and help me excel! I desperately need You right now...' This song is playing in my mind right now as I surrender EVERYTHING to Him...

Titanic 2: The Surface
Just when you thought that Jack Dawson died...
Just when you thought that Jack Dawson died...
Just when you thought no more, "You jump, I jump"...
Just when you thought that you'll never (at least not so often) hear the irritating My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion...
It's Back!!!
**I'm a NOT huge fan of this movie, in fact, NOT A FAN AT ALL but someone sent this to me. Thought this might keep my readers entertained**
Funny & Ironic
Why this title?? Well, you see, I've got this friend, he used to laugh at people, including me, for blogging. He calls me LAME. He said, blogging is such a waste of time. Why blog and let people reads to know your daily (almost) routine, your thoughts, how you feel about certain things and so on. Ultimately, he said, blogging is what he'll never do cause IT SUCHA WASTE OF TIME! And now, guess what??? He's a BLOGGER now! And he blogs more often than me! And now, I'm laughing at him back. After sooo many years of going against blogging, he is one right now. How ironic...
**My friend mentioned above is Christopher Sam Chan Toong Lam. He was my classmate in SAM and he's a cool guy. Talking about him makes me recall so much of my SAM year in Taylor's (with Caryn, PK, Jean, Li Koon & etc...). This guy, never fails to come late for classes, smokes every opportunity given and always makes me put up with his shits. But he's someone who always helps me when Im in trouble like when I lost my locker key and all my stuff and books was locked in the locker and I was already late for my 1st class which is Mr Munin's class, where he is so pantang if students are late for more than 5mins, and I was stucked in the library where I lost my locker keys and still cant find it even thought after searching it for more than 30mins, and stared at my locker, figuring how to open it and he comes to the rescue. Sounds so heroic uh? Nah... just one compensation for putting up with his shits. Ngek ngek ngek!

What I've been looking for
OST High School Musical
performed by Zac Efron & Vanessa Anne Hudgens
It's hard to believe
That I couldn't see
You were always there beside me
Thought I was alone
With no one to hold
But you were always right beside me
This feeling's like no other
I want you to know
I've never had someone that knows me like you do
The way you do
And I've never had someone as good for me as you
No one like you
So lonely before I finally found
What I've been looking for
Currently addicted to this movie. SO NICE!!! The songs are great and the dances are great as well. Go watch it. I think they are showing it in Disney Channel on the 25th June 2006. I know the show is a little bit kiddie but heck it, I LOVE IT!!!
Looks like a havent been blogging as often as I used to. Promise that I'll do it after my finals... which is less than 2 weeks time. SCARY!!! Arrrgghhhhhhh!!!
