Hello ppl!

I'm back...!

from???

POW WOW of course!

I'm sure some of u miss me while I was away... Oh, who blames you???

POW WOW was AWESOME! I personally had a great time there though it was raining every afternoon.

Day 1
I drove up to Dusun Eco Resort, Pahang with Kenny driving Reuben's car and Collin. We reached the campsite around 3.15pm after stopping at McD's for lunch. The road to the campsite was a little bumpy and hilly. Thank goodness I took dad's CRV or else we won't be able to reach the campsite with my BUBU myvi. The afternoon activities was kick off with group meeting of each group (England, Brazil, Italy and Holland). I was in the England team but I didnt participate much.
At night was the campfire. Discovery had their own campfire with the theme "Frutti Tutti" and Adventure and Expedition with the theme "Sarong night". We had great time of laughter and fellowship. I was tired out the 1st night and so I didnt join the rest of the leaders for supper.

Day 2
Woke up 7am for wash up, breakfast and then morning parade at 8.30am. I can see the shocking face my group members gave me when they see my uniform, that I'm a commander. Hehehe =) Anyways, 1st fun activity of the day was the highlights (rock-climbing, rakit building, flying fox, jungle trekking, obstacle course and FCF). Every rangers are suppose to complete at leasr 4 and priority is given to them. Kyleen and I went for the rock-climbing and later, rakit building (hey, commanders wanna have some fun too!). Rakit building was fun but the instructor was a lil bit psycho. Hehehe... after everything was completed, out of the sudden, he asked all of us to come into the lake. I was like, "WHATSS?!?!?!?!". And so, Kyleen, Tzi-Li and I decided to ran away. But was caught by Cmdr Desmond Lim as he thinks that we are the perfect candidates for 'tiger-caught'. And so, news travelled to the camp cmdr, Cmdr Kwang Yew. He gave us a hard time in the camp. Everytime I bumped into him, without fail he will give me his cheekiest smile. Hard to avoid him. Darnnnnn! Anyways, thank goodness we didnt get 'tiger-caught'. The day ended with a superb night-rally and cooking spagetthi for supper.

Day 3
Woke up super late and missed breakfast. Just in time for the morning parade and then followed by morning chapel. Wasnt felling good in the morning cause my "aunty" decided to pay me a visit. Slept the whole afternoon while the rest went and complete their highlights. Felt much better after the sleep and got myself prepare for the night rally after dinner. Again... the rally was superb. God's presence was sooooo strong. Every camper was so on fire for Him. Since, this was the last night, we allowed them to stay up till 2am. We had great time laughing and chatting and playing in the hall with the rangers. A few of time cracked their heads playing riddle with Cmdr Suresh. It's fun seeing them cracking their heads cause I went through that 'stage' years back.

Day 4
Last day of camp. Awwwww... Started with a morning parade, photo session, followed by last song and yell presentation and prize giving and officially closed by Cmdr Gideon.
Oh yeah... the winning teams...

As I was chatting with Daniel Pua, he keeps praising himself and I said, "self-praise is no praise".

And I was reminded of one of my group members who is always, like Daniel Pua, keeps praising himself. And I said the same thing, "self-praise is no praise".

He replied, "eh, what is that? never heard of that before lar..."
"That's a very famous saying"
"Eh, no lar... 1st time I'm hearing it. Only you says that"

In my heart, "WAHHHHLLLLAAAUUUUEEEHHHH...! Damn "sua ku" lar you..."

Finally... Dad paid the streamyx bill. Life is so miserable without Internet... well, almost. Mich has been complaining that I've been MIA (missing in action) for so long... Even darling Jes, who is so busy in Canberra also complained. Anyhow, I'm back! Yes Amy Tan, I know you miss me... hehehe =) undeniable!

Life has been pretty busy for me, especially this week. I need to get my assignments done as much as possible before POW WOW cause 2 assignments will be dued after the camp. Poor starfish!

Car wash is this saturday. My car is DIRTY. Cause I want to make my RM20 worth it. Hehehhe...

Missiong trip to Kuching is here again. This time, we have 26 youths!! Praise the Lord. And the best part is 16 GIRLS and 9 boys. Biggest girls missiong trip ever and biggest mission group ever in GTA history. Again, Im the treasurer. It's really no fun carrying lots of money around cause other people will have to carry nothing when hiking except for me cause I have to carry the money everywhere I go. Anyhow, I've got myself an assistant this trip which is Amy Tan, so, I'll just ask her to do all the carrying. Hehehe...! This is call training but torturing... =)

Ignore this starfish picture... Just something I wanna put when I'm bored =)

Love this gold starfish necklace... BEEEAAAUUUTTIIIFFFFUUULLLL...!

*hint hint** Turning 21 on 28th Dec. hehe.

I know haven't been blogging but I'm so just uninspired. After not having more than 1 month of internet connection at home, I just the inspiration to blog... However, will continue to blog.

Anyways, here's a story about Starfish...

A small boy was running along a beach after a great storm which had washed up thousands upon thousands of starfish. He picked up as many as he could, one by one, throwing them back into the sea to save their lives.

An old man, watching this, waited until the boy was close enough and then asked: "What are you doing?" "I'm putting the starfish back," replied the boy, "or they will die." "Why bother?" said the man, "the few you manage to save out of so many cannot possibly make much difference."

The boy looked at the man as only a child can, stooped down and picked up another starfish and threw it purposefully into the sea. "It will make a difference to that one," he said.
